The device can be used in hospitals, and are also available for those who need them at home. The Work mode includes CPAP, Auto, S, T, ST, APCV. APCV mode is particularly for critical patients who has rapid and shallow breathing (high frequency breathing) and low tidal volume. It mainly aims to get the targeted tidal volume, commonly used for hospital.
