The Medtronic 5388 is a dual-chamber temporary pacemaker that provides eight different types of modes for pacing therapy. This Medtronic pacemaker is battery-powered and usually connected to transvenous, epicardial, or myocardial pacing leads. It can be used for temporary single or dual-chamber pacing. Its constant current device, the pulse emitted from the device stays at a constant value. Medtronic offers a few different dual chamber pacemakers including the Medtronic 5392.

• Operates with a 9V alkaline or lithium battery.
• DDD, DVI, DDI, DOO, VOO, VVI, AOO, and AAI pacing therapy modes.
• Compatible with Medtronic 5433A, Medtronic M5433V, Medtronic 5832, Medtronic 5832S pacing and surgical cables.
